Our Ethos
Funky Monkeys endeavours to promote child development through the provision of challenging, exciting, interactive, stimulating, inclusive, appropriate & fun activities which offer social, physical, intellectual, creative and emotional experiences for the children.
We encourage children to explore the range of challenges our equipment provides and play freely doing whatever activities they feel comfortable with, within the rules of the centre.
About Our Rules
Our rules are in place for child protection purposes.
Our height and age restriction are in force for the safety of all our children and should be adhered to at all times.
We provide trained staff members who monitor the equipment, have access to first aid facilities and are here to help where possible.
Parents/Carers are responsible for the supervision of children and should supervise children from outside the play frame and in the event that your little explorer needs assistance please adhere to Funky Monkeys rules when entering the play frame.
Children should not be assisted onto equipment they cannot access themselves and left to their own devices. Children who need assistance should be accompanied by a Parent/Carer over the age of 16 who should act appropriately, supervising only.
It is advised that children who cannot access parts of the play frame themselves, should not use forced movement objects such as slides, rotating equipment, zip lines/cableways and large ball areas.

Children possess their own individual adventure threshold and will explore and attempt the challenges afforded to them by the equipment at a level they are comfortable with. Occasionally child development through experimentation and free play results in bumps and grazes.
